What’s Going On?

Happy Monday, everyone!

We have a new CAM! Some of you may have met our new Community Account Manager (CAM) from Capstone at our HOA Board meeting on May 5. Her name is Tiffany El Homsi. She’s very looking forward to helping the CV Board with the management of our community and has already committed to monthly visits for violation notices. Tiffany was in our community last week making note of sidewalks and roofs that need power washing. Letters will be sent to those home owners this week. If you receive a letter, Tiffany has asked that you respond to her within 14 days to let her know when you will remedy the situation; failure to respond may result in fines being incurred. If you feel you received a letter in error, please let Tiffany know that as well.

Next month, Tiffany will be inspecting driveways as well as doing a follow up inspection of those homes who received letters about their sidewalk and/or roof.

Whether you receive a letter or not, think about buddying up with your neighbor to get your sidewalk, driveway, and/or roof power washed. Many vendors will give you a price break for multiple homes so be sure to ask!

As required by Florida law, an Arbitration Group has been established to protect and preserve our neighborhood and association. The Group is made up of community volunteers.  Its purpose is to provide consistent conformity with Caribbean Village By-laws and Rules. Should there be a dispute with regard to violations, the Group was established to hear the homeowner’s explanation of the situation and help resolve the issue.

What else is going on in our Village? There are several other happenings at our clubhouse (unless otherwise noted) over the next two weeks:
