What’s Going On?
Happy Monday, everyone! Have you seen our two newest “residents” up at the clubhouse?
Looks like Oktoberfest was great fun on Saturday, October 4, despite a bit of rain.
We recently made a change to Section 100 - Exterior House Lights in our Rules and Regulations document so let’s talk about that today.
A. Garage Lights: All changes and/or additional light fixtures to the exterior of the house require ARC approval. The ARC application must include a picture of the proposed fixture, a copy of the plat survey showing the location of the light fixtures, as well as all required contractor information.
B. Accent Lights: The addition of, or a change to existing accent lights REQUIRES ARC approval. Accent lights MUST be white and hard wired to the electrical system of the house. (Lights with extension cords or battery operated are considered SEASONAL – see section 260). The ARC application must include a picture of the proposed fixture (including product specifications), a copy of the plat survey showing the location of each light, along with all required contractor information. NOTE: Lights may change colors ONLY during a holiday season.

Saturday, October 18 at 8am - Rummage Sale. Everyone has treasures that they do not want or need anymore. Please consider saving them to donate to our Rummage Sale! We currently do not have a place to store any items, we ask that you save them up and bring them to the Clubhouse on Thursday October 16th. Our goal is to raise enough funds to cover the costs of placing benches in our community. Walkers and dog walkers will be so appreciative to have a place to rest or sit as we chat with our neighbors! Monday, October 20 at 5:30pm - HOA Board meeting. Please come to hear what’s going on in the community and to share your ideas. We will have two open Board seats in November so please consider running for the Board. If it’s something you’re thinking about and would like to chat with one or all of us, we’re happy to do so after the meeting.
