What’s Going On?
Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far.
Have you seen the new addition to the area by the mailboxes? Thanks to Ron Jung and Tony Loureiro, we now have a bulletin board located next to each bank of mailboxes. The bulletin boards were installed on Saturday and will be another vehicle for communicating meetings and events. I think they’ll be especially helpful in sharing important information in the event of a hurricane when we may not have internet to be able to email and text. Thank you, Ron and Tony, for installing them! Toby approves!
Let’s review the rules of Section 20 - Amenity Center which includes the Community Pool, Clubhouse, Fitness Room and Bocce Ball Court.
A. Clean up after yourself – Take all trash with you.
B. No Lifeguard – Swim at your own risk.
C. Shower before entering the pool.
D. No glass allowed.
E. No food in the pool.
F. No Animals in pool or pool deck.
G. Pool Capacity is 34 persons.
H. Pool Hours – Dawn to Dusk.
I. In case of Emergency, Call 911.
J. No running or jumping on or from pool deck.
K. No large pool toys/rafts
L. Children under twelve (12) MUST be accompanied by an adult.
M. Pool furniture must be covered with a towel during use.
N. Pool furniture must be returned to original position/location.
O. Lower umbrellas and tie straps when leaving.
P. Pool use by Caribbean Village Homeowners, legal tenants and guests only.
Q. No loud, boisterous, profane, or offensive behavior.
R. No swimming during thunder and lightning storms.
S. No Smoking – this includes all types of tobacco products, E-Cigarettes, and other electronic smoking devices.
T. Turn off lights and fans when finished using clubhouse and fitness room.
The Board asks that you’re mindful of the fact that this is a community space so PLEASE be respectful of others by following all of these rules.

Saturday October 4 at 5pm - Oktoberfest. $5 per person (includes German/Norwegian inspired food - BYOB). Family friendly, kid activities, adult games, cornhole and more!
Monday, October 6 at 5:30pm - HOA Board meeting. All home owners are welcome to attend. Come share your ideas! And consider running for one of the two open Board seats in November.
Thursday, October 9 at 6pm - Mahjong
Monday, October 13 at 11am - Social Committee meeting.
Thursday, October 16 at 11am - Daytime Book Club
Thursday, October 16 at 6pm - Mahjong
Saturday, October 18 at 8am - Rummage Sale. Everyone has treasures that they do not want or need anymore. Please consider saving them to donate to our Rummage Sale! We currently do not have a place to store any items, we ask that you save them up and bring them to the Clubhouse on Thursday October 16th. Our goal is to raise enough funds to cover the costs of placing benches in our community. Walkers and dog walkers will be so appreciative to have a place to rest or sit as we chat with our neighbors!
