Happy Tuesday, all! Looks like it could storm outside any second! I love a good thunderstorm! Fortunately, Toby isn’t afraid.

The ARC Committee is looking for a few good people! If you’ve ever put in a request for any type of property improvements (hurricane shutters/windows, landscaping, pool, etc.), the members of this committee review these requests and approve or deny them based on our rules and regulations prior to sending them on to the Board for final review. It’s a pretty easy committee to be a part of since typically there are only a handful of ARC requests submitted each month. Save your treasures! The Social and Events Committee will be hosting a rummage sale in October. If you have any items you’d like to donate to this fundraiser, please contact Liz Hilker at lizsbelievers@gmail.com.

Here’s what else is happening in our Village at the club house (unless otherwise noted) in the next two weeks:

  • Wednesday, July 16 at 5:30pm - Ladies Night Out at the Anna Maria Oyster Bar, 14132 Tamiami Trail, North Port

  • Thursday, July 17 at 11am - Daytime Book Club

  • Thursday, July 17 at 6pm - Mahjong

  • Saturday, July 19 from 2pm - 5pm - Private event

  • Sunday, July 20 from 3pm - 7pm - Private event

  • Monday, July 21 at 6:30pm - Evening Book Club

  • Tuesday, July 22 at 5:30pm - HOA Board meeting to review and approve updated Rules and Regulations, CERT, and Arbitration Group documents. While all are welcome to attend, this will literally be just the five Board members reading and editing these documents to finalize them. There will not be any home owner Q&A/discussion.

  • Thursday, July 24 at 6pm - Mahjong
