Beautification & Upkeep Committee - Call for Volunteers!
Would you like to help make CV a more beautiful place every now and then? Whether your input is manual labor, project logistical support, or simply sharing ideas? The Beautification committee needs you!! Please email vicepresident@cvcommunity.us and Dennis will follow up with you in email or phone.
If you prefer to work on infastructure maintenance and repair, then the “Upkeep” side of that committee needs you! There are always little things that need fixing or maintenance, and CV needs your help. Please email upkeep@cvcommunity.us if you would like to get on that volunteer list.
Board Meeting Minutes
The official minutes (draft and/or approved) are available for your viewing enjoyment. They reside in our PayHOA portal under the “Documents” link. You will find folders for 2025 and 2026. Click on a folder to expand it to see official public records for each year.
Board Vacancy
Unfortunately, our Board Secretary, Ramona Jung has resigned from the Board of Directors. It is a great loss to this community with her no longer volunteering in this role. We thank her for her work, devotion, passion, and expertise she gave to CV serving on the Board since December 2024. If you would like to know her reason, that is completely up to her whether she will share it with you or not.
This is now three Board members that have resigned since late October. It is so difficult to find residents willing to serve on the board, and extremely delicate to keep those who are still serving to stay on. I urge everyone to think very long and hard about what happens when Board members feel the need to resign. Without a quorum on the Board, the community collapses. Board members are volunteers doing the best they can to make CV the best it can be. We are bound and duly sworn to abide with state laws and our community governing documents in every discussion and decision. Not all decisions are popular or pleasing (even for us), but they are decisions we make under the “business judgement rule” while navigating the laws and documents to the best of our ability.
We do not have anyone that has expressed interest in filling the new Board vacancy at this time. We sure would love to get back to a 5-member Board quickly. Please let any one of the Board members know if you would be willing to be considered to fill this vacancy. Please, neighbors, do not assume someone else will step up; because that assumption only results in nobody stepping up.

Electronic Voting & Text Messaging Opt-in
The Board has established a policy that follows state laws on launching electronic voting for matters of changing the governing documents, and annual elections. Our PayHOA Portal provides us a state compliant online platform for this, so we will be implementing it through that. Electronic voting is secure, private, and optional. Please keep a watch for an email in April launching the opt-in invite.
Text messaging is also a feature within our PayHOA Portal. Although email reaches a large percentage of our residents, there are some folks that do not use, or do not check their email very often. Text mesaging provides the ability to reach a large percentage of those residents with the information they need to know about in CV. This service is also optional. Please keep a watch for an email in April launching the opt-in invite. We will examine the residents that show “unopened” email and send them an old-fashion “snail mail” to opt-in.
