What’s Going On?

Happy Monday, everyone!

Last week I reminded you about our new Arbitration Group. The Group’s official governing document is now on our website here. Since this is a new process to our Village, please take a few minutes to read through the documentation. Reminding you again: please don’t ignore letters sent from Capstone about sidewalks, roofs, landscaping, etc. as doing so will result in a hearing and fines.

With hurricane season now upon us, documentation for the Community Emergency Reporting Team (CERT) has also been updated here. Please take a few minutes to read through this documentation to understand your responsibilities in the event of an emergency, which typically means a hurricane. Know your Street Liaisons (listed by street on the page) in case you have questions.

Here’s what else is happening in our Village at the club house (unless otherwise noted) in the next two weeks:

  • TONIGHT! Monday, August 4 at 5:30pm - HOA Board meeting. Open to all residents. Please make time to come to hear updates on current and future projects as well as to express your thoughts.

  • Thursday, August 7 at 6pm - Mahjong

  • Monday, August 11 from noon - 2pm (please note this is a time change) - Social and Events Committee planning meeting. Light lunch will be served. All neighbors who are interested in being part of the planning for the next nine months and would like to join the committee are encouraged to attend. If you cannot commit to participate in every event but could help with some, please attend.

  • Thursday, August 14 at 6pm - Mahjong

I hope to see you at one of these fun upcoming events!
